Access and Safety

Snappy Shack is fully portable and fits through doorways and up flights of stairs, but a little help would be appreciated if the lift to the 8th floor is broken!.

Size: 1.3m width x 2.3m length x 2m height
A suitable space, preferable near a wall and a single plug socket nearby is all that is required.

We have public liability insurance up to £2,000,000 and all our equipment is PAT tested by a professional.

Area

We are based in Billingham but are happy to travel anywhere in the North East or even further afield.
If you are outside our free 50-mile radius then there will be a small extra charge to cover our travel expenses.

Shack Attendants

Each event will be attended by our Shack Attendants in neat branded uniforms to ensure everything runs smoothly. 

Payment

We require a £100 deposit to be paid at the time of booking. The balance will then be due for payment 1 month before the date of your event.

We accept payment by bank transfer, SumUp, Paypal, cheque or cash.

Terms and Conditions

Bookings

1.1 Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation letter, email or social media message from us. 

1.2 By placing an order with us either verbally or via email regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and bound by all our terms and conditions of hire.

1.3 In the event that Snappy Shack is not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will still operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting). In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances that are no fault of Snappy Shack, then the hire will still end as per the agreed time on the booking form. In the event that we have set up on time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over-running of previous activities, by you or the venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed time on the booking form.

1.4 Snappy Shack cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event; these may include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicles, sickness or equipment failure. In the case that we cannot attend or fulfil your hire due to events beyond our control we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances our liability will be limited to refunding all of the monies paid.

1.6 Hire of the Snappy Shack can be cancelled in writing any time time before the date of the booked event, however the £100 deposit is non-refundable. If the booking is cancelled less than 1 month before the event and the final balance has been paid then Snappy Swirl will refund 50% of the total amount.

Prices, Deposit & Balance Payments

2.1 All hires are subject to a non-refundable deposit of £100

2.2 The remaining balance to be paid in full and cleared 1 month prior to the event start date. No reminder will be sent.

2.3 We accept payment via bank transfer, SumUp, Paypal, cheque and cash.

2.4 If the hirer uses the equipment for a time period in excess of the service period agreed, the coverage in rental time will be billed to the hirer and must be paid before additional hours are provided.

2.5 Advertised prices are subject to change without prior notification, but are fixed at time of deposit.

2.6 No credit will be allowed.

Equipment

3.1 Snappy Shack reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.

3.2 All sizes quoted are approximate.

3.3 All goods remain the property of Snappy Shack at all times.

3.4 Snappy Shack reserve the right to amend, improve or alter any product specifications without prior notice.

Site Location, Facilities & Conduct

4.1 Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once set up. Please ensure there is sufficient space at your venue to set up the Snappy Shack.

4.2 The Snappy Shack photobooth is for indoor use only, requires 1 mains power socket and must be on a completely flat & level surface. The photobooth may be located within a marquee, but please note the above power and level surface requirements.

4.3 Please ensure that you have obtained permission at your venue to use the Snappy Shack.

4.4 Please inform us of any circumstances that would make setting up the Snappy Shack more demanding, including going upstairs, long distances from unloading area to operating area, etc. We allocate a set period of time for setting up our equipment at your venue which is included within your price, but if there are any complications that are not made known to us beforehand then unfortunately this will come out of the run time.

4.5 We will usually arrive at the venue 1 hour before the booking time to allow time to set up.

4.6 The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to the start of the event.

4.7 Snappy Shack reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of Snappy Shack feels that guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to Snappy Shack.

4.8 Snappy Shack reserves the right to refuse guests admission into the photo booth if our Shack Assistants feel they are too unruly.

Liability & Insurance

5.1 The hirer agrees to cover Snappy Shack for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire.

5.2 Snappy Shack accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and/or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.

5.3 Snappy Shack has public liability insurance up to £2,000,000 and all our equipment is PAT tested by a professional.

All Other Terms and Conditions
6.1 Snappy Shack may use any of the photographs from your event for suitable means; this includes but is not limited to advertising and promotional material either in print or on the internet. Attending your event would mean you agree to this condition and permission has been granted to do so by yourselves and your guests.

By hiring a photobooth from Snappy Shack you agree to all our Terms and Conditions.
